I grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, to become an airline pilot. After a year, however, I decided that was not my calling and I received a degree in Aviation Management.
I later got an MBA from University of Phoenix. I worked for FedEx for 23 years, then joined a partner in providing leadership and team building training for corporate clients. I then worked in ministry for six years and finished my career as a small business owner. I retired in 2020.
