Background:
Last month the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released a preliminary report on possible threats posed by UFO’s now known as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and the progress the Department of Defense Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) has made in understanding any threats.
The report provided an overview for policymakers of the challenges associated with characterizing the potential threat posed by UAP while also providing a means to develop relevant processes, policies, technologies, and training for the U.S. military and other U.S. Government (USG) personnel when they encounter UAP, to enhance the Intelligence Community’s (IC) ability to understand the threat.
After four years of collecting data, the first scientifically authenticated documentation of UAP’s was released by the Genesis 2 Project (G2P) and Primeau Forensics in 2020 which included images captured with infrared technology. The methodological standards meet the criteria established by the Scientific Working Group for Digital Evidence and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
G2P’s mission is to pursue empirical investigations of forensically validated UAP recordings and open legitimate questioning into the implications of such technologies on our national security.
