CEO Mauve Martian
I’m the creative force behind Mauve Martian. I was born and raised in the Mars-like landscapes of Tucson, Arizona and attended Arizona State University’s film degree program. I now alchemize cosmic ideas into tangible gifts from art prints and curated playlists to culinary creations, and beyond. My work celebrates mindfulness, storytelling, and intentionality.
I’m a storyteller by default and my preferred medium of expression is ever evolving. Very similar to my artwork, I have had a very colorful career path. Ranging from tech start-ups to corporate sales positions. Each “job” was supposed to be temporary and the more comfortable the roles became, the more uncomfortable I got. You see, I didn’t plan on sticking to the corporate structure for long and really wanted to make use of my production degree. Little did I know that each role would somehow prepare me for the business I started and showed me that I was built for something else. I gained a lot of skills along the way and regardless of the random industries I found myself in, I always knew deep down I would find my way to a creative role where I could finally bloom.
Mauve Martian is an accumulation of ideas, interests and collaborations. It’s truly a celebration of creativity’s limitless qualities. I try to avoid niches due to not wanting to be held down by one thing. I auditioned with a screenplay when applying for the film school degree program and knew that storytelling would be at the core of everything I create. I began mm with freelance graphic design work and have built up a nice clientele doing so.
My website is a place for each idea of mine to alchemize organically. I’m still green outwardly, but this transition into what I’m doing now has been a long time coming. I currently have art prints available for digital download, but plan to expand on that very soon!

Her path took a significant turn when she completed her master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Harvard University. Inspired by the intellectual environment, she decided to start her own business in executive coaching and management consulting. Her solid foundation in psychology, coupled with her passion for continuous learning, sets her apart in the field. Currently, Alyssa intends to pursue a PhD in Organizational Behavior starting August 2025.
