Movie Writer and Director

Born and raised here in Tucson Arizona. School was like never really for me I never felt challenged and got bored so I always ended up rebelling. I got into the workforce young, and I’ve done just about everything job wise.

I finally really started following my dreams when I started writing books, but that was just kind of a dead end no real progress.

So, I wrote a script and talked to my best friend Matt who was a photographer and said let’s do this. The rest is history.

Well for the longest time I was like your Swiss army knife type of guy, I did pretty much everything and anything if they paid me.

Got super serious about starting my own business and would think of all these cool ideas that I thought were brilliant. They always fell through though from lack of support and yeah, I would find myself back at square one having to work a normal day job again.

It took off for me finally when one rainy night I started writing and I didn’t stop. This turned into my first book I wrote. I ended up writing 4 books total and finally just realized I was writing books and having them printed and for what? Nobody reads books they were like I support you, but I don’t read.

I wrote Dark Room; I got Matt onboard. I reached out to Chris who I knew for a few years before all this, and I told him what I wanted to do. I was like I know it’s not a western, but he was all about it regardless.

R&M Productions is going strong, pumping out films, and we offer help to others who need help. We’re slowly growing and getting better at our craft.
I’m constantly writing scripts and throwing them out to actors who I feel like they would be perfect for, and we go make movies.

BIO ~ Gabriel Michael

Film and Digital Arts. Filmmaker/Choreographer/Writer/Editor

Grew up in two different hells but landed in Tucson for some odd reason and still here. Went to Pima Community College for Film and Digital Arts Before that I learned skateboarding and how to fight in high school in the 80’s-90’s, not many film classes back then.

My life, Film and Digital Arts. Filmmaker/Choreographer/Writer/Editor. “I love seeing a story come full circle from the original concept, to writing, filming, lighting, sound, and everything in between to its final form in post”.

Previous production experience: (Hollywood Studio work)-P.A. for Producers/Writers, Set/Location P.A, Grip/Set Work, Stunt Work/Fight Choreography. 39+yrs Martial Arts Experience, 36 years customer service experience. I’ve had many jobs in this life from working with producers making millions to cleaning loading docks for $3/hr. and everything in between, but nothing compares to bringing creativity into your life.

For 30+ years Martial Arts was my “Art”, that expanded when I decided to go with my intuition and go back into filmmaking. Digital resources, equipment changed everything, so a person doesn’t have to live in L.A. or N.Y. to make films anymore and I think we are seeing another transition period like when Gen X was halfway between analog and digital, now we are halfway between digital and AI or who knows… I know I’m in the right place.

Currently I’m working on a few of my own projects: several shorts and a feature all in re-writing phase. I collaborate with others in various roles and aspects. My goal is to tell stories and if that means telling my own or helping a fellow storyteller tell their vision.
