I was raised in Michigan City, Indiana. I moved to Portage, Indiana when my parents married, when I was 14 years old. I completed one year of college in 1991. I studied digital electronics and computer science at Ivy Tech Community College. I left college to enter the work force.
I began my author journey in 2015. I had much of the contents in my book “Reunion” in my head since I was six years old, when I had a very vivid dream that really disturbed me. In the dream, my mother was being abducted by aliens and since I would have been a witness to this, the aliens abducted me as well. The aliens had procedures to follow when there were witnesses. My Mother and I were then taken to an alien facility. At that facility, they made a copy of her (now called a clone)
The aliens argued about whether they should allow me to keep my memories of the abduction. They decided that I could retain some of the memories, but I would believe that it was just a nightmare. The aliens were showing me examples of why they do not try to communicate with humans, as humans cannot be trusted. The aliens claimed that we were the most violent species that they had come across. They spoke of the fact that their species had never had a war.
This dream had such an effect on my that as soon as I woke from the dream, I ran to my parents’ bedroom to make sure that my mother was still in bed. Then I shook her to wake her up. I asked questions that only my real Mother could know. My Mom and Dad struggled to convince me that it was just a dream.
I explained most of the dream to them, and they just kept saying the same thing over and over and that was that it was just a dream.

I am still in the beginning stages of writing my third book (Reunion 3 Crossroads ). I don’t have enough content created to do a breakdown of this book. All that I can say is that my first two books laid the foundation for my third book.
