About Marie Tjernlund
My joy has always been to help people connect and communicate effectively with each other. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest (US), my father was a vocal music teacher, my mother, an artist.
With a bachelor’s degree in Theatre and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, I’ve worked in non-profit organizations, an international investment firm, leadership development companies, even a coffee company.
No matter what department or position I started in (Marketing Director, Administrator, L&D Manager, Corporate Tour Guide), I inevitably ended up teaching, coaching, mentoring, building bridges – encouraging people to engage with each other with authenticity, compassion, and curiosity.
I’m now the President of Noble Edge, a leadership consulting firm based in Gig Harbor, Washington, where I provide leadership skills training, program consulting and executive coaching.
