Baby Boomer.org pulls together news and resources for the baby boomer community. He is also author of the children’s book, “I Don’t Want to Turn 3” and the business book “The Secrets of Retailing…How to Beat Walmart”. He has written over 100 articles about small businesses, education, the homeless and several other nonprofit topics dear to all of us.
Marc has spent his career in retailing, wholesaling and the Internet. He started out his career in the Department Store industry with what is now Macy’s as a buyer, merchandise manager and store manager. He then went into the discount store business taking one chain from 240 stores to 551 stores and another Dollar Store chain from 49 stores to 441 stores.
He then became a supplier and built a B2B Internet company starting in his bedroom that went public. Marc also known as Gramps is currently the co-founder of the new site www.babyboomer.org which pulls together news and resources for the baby boomer community. The one thing baby boomers have in common is a connected shared experience.
Our generation has interest in travel, grandparenting, healthy eating, finance, retirement, caregiving, healthcare, dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, fitness, pickleball, volunteering, giving back and the legacy we will leave.
