About Kathleen Pickrel
Kathleen has launched a new online course called Dating After Decades, which helps women who haven’t dated in many years (due to divorce, losing a spouse, or just haven’t been out there in a while) to navigate the often scary and confusing world that dating has become
Kathleen grew up in Southern California. Her father was in the military & her mother is from Northern Ireland. She was a homemaker for her 2 children -Kaitlyn and Ian, & while taking care of the home, she pursued her education, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology & master’s degree in social work.
She moved to Tucson in 1993 when her husband was transferred with Raytheon. After college, she worked as a medical social worker for 14 years, working with cancer patients and their families.
At the age of 48, Kathleen’s husband of 25 years passed away, which started a new journey for her. Wanting a new direction, she trained to become a certified life coach and founded Choose Congruency. Kathleen works with people and groups that are ready to make a positive change, especially if the desired change comes after a major life shake-up. 
In her coaching, she helps you to gain clarity of what you want, identifying roadblocks to getting there, helps you stay motivated, as well as keeps you accountable to working toward your goal. This is true for both 1:1 and group coaching.
Currently, Kathleen has launched a new online course called Dating After Decades, which helps women who haven’t dated in many years (due to divorce, losing a spouse, or just haven’t been out there in a while) to navigate the often scary and confusing world that dating has become. It is information and support that Kathleen would have found helpful when she decided to try dating again after more than 25 years.
She also hosts a monthly podcast called Choose Congruency that discusses all things mindset – looking at how our thoughts, words, and actions create our reality.
