Sally Shamrell (now Murphy) raised along the border in Naco, AZ. Bisbee High School, U of A grad in media arts. Radio & TV career, then quit that to become an actress in LA. Numerous roles on Young & The Restless and on TV series.
Have written 2 pilots, and a screenplay. Fundraising now for “Choir Practice”. We’ve raised HALF of the budget! Glenn Murphy raised in Perth, AUS. Career focus on culinary/hospitality as well as live music. (sound mixing and touring) The Cork Tucson, LLC
Sally’s journalism background has her focused on telling stories for the big screen that are “inspired by actual events”. Choir Practice is the tale of an unconventional priest and lost migrant, Tucson cops & drug cartel.
Second feature screenplay on early 80’s Tucson bank robbery that was the largest “get” in US history at the time, is underway.
