Mark draws from the experience that started as a teenage actor in American westerns. Early one was encouraged by his mentor director, John Huston, to work behind the camera. He was introduced to Mr. Huston via the star of LIFE AND TIMES OF JUDGE ROY BEAN, PaulNewman. Mark was a young boy at that point in his career and soon decided this was the work for him. Mark continued working on such films as McLINTOCK! with John Wayne, MONTE WALSH with his friend Lee Marvin and countless other movies. Mark even got the pleasure and honor of working with Frank Sinatra on DIRTY DINGUS MAGEE and Andy Warhol on LONESOME COWBOY. Since Leaving Arizona for the goldfields of California, he has had a stellar career as producer and line producer, being privileged to produce such films as STAND-INS and Visioneer. While Mark’s experience blends the creative and technical aspects of filmmaking, his true genius lies in the behind-the-scenes nuts and bolts aspects of movie production that are key to making any successful film.
