Darren Kay, MD Darren Kay, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician practicing at Tucson ER & Hospital where he serves as the Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Kay earned his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Utah before completing an internship in Surgery at the University of Colorado. He then continued on to complete residency training in Emergency Medicine at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. Dr. Kay moved to Tucson in 1998 and practiced Emergency Medicine at Northwest Medical Center and Oro Valley Hospital for over 20 years. In addition to his clinical practice, he also served as the EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Medical Director for 15 years for Rural Metro, AMR, Ranger, and Northwest Fire District. Dr. Kay grew up in Utah on a ranch and loves that Tucson offers so many outdoor activities. Dr. Kay, his wife, and children have called Tucson home since the late 1990s and truly enjoy the city and culture.

Crystal Kasnoff has been in the marketing, communications, and public relations field for more than twenty years. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and has an Executive Certificate in Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Part of Kasnoff’s extensive experience includes serving as the Executive Director for Tucson’s January 8th Memorial, and the Marketing and External Affairs Director for University Medical Center. Crystal has lived in Tucson for over 30 years and loves the Tucson community.
