BIO ~ MEGHAN TIEMANN 

Meghan Tiemann is a captive wildlife specialist for the PETA Foundation’s Captive Animal Law Enforcement division.  

Her work has led to many victories for animals used by roadside zoos, circuses, and traveling acts, including the closure of the notorious Tri-State Zoo in Maryland, as well as the transfer of numerous animals from exploitative operations to reputable sanctuaries.  

Tiemann studied biology at Southern Connecticut State University and lives in Torrington, Connecticut with her husband, son, and rescued dog, Hudson.
