BIO ~ MARIA DE LOS ANGELES CORRAL
María de los Ángeles Corral is vice president of Public Relations at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
She has dedicated nearly three decades to advancing solutions to some of the most complex social challenges and advocating for diverse communities, leveraging the power of strategic communications and marketing.
Throughout her career, she has distinguished herself by developing the communications infrastructure organizations need to strengthen their outreach capacity and help build authentic narratives that generate meaningful social impact.
Ms. Corral has advanced training in cultural and linguistic studies, which enables her to serve as an institutional spokesperson and expert on the Hispanic market. This experience has allowed her to develop and implement effective communications strategies for Latine communities and other diverse populations, in addition to becoming a trusted voice for these audiences.
Before joining AFSP, during her tenure at The College Board, she was the organization’s primary Spanish-language spokesperson and led the Hispanic market strategy across the institution.
