BIO ~ Becky Noel
Executive Director of Eastside Neighbors Volunteer Program
Born in Missouri but moved to Texas after 7th grade. Texas is home as she attended 8th grade through college in El Paso. Graduated from the University of Texas El Paso (UTEP) with a BS in Criminal Justice in 1977.
Worked in retail, grocery management, banking as a training officer, and then starting with the Tucson Police Department in 1996. After 20 years as a Community Service Officer she retired in 2016.
Becky has served as Executive Director of the International Crime Free Association, served on the boards of Our Family Services and TMM ( Tucson Metropolitan Ministries). She volunteered with TROT (Therapeutic Riding of Tucson) for 10 1/2 years and worked as their volunteer coordinator for 2 years. Her love of horses continues to be a passion. She also loves to hike in Saguaro National Park.
She is the Executive Director of Eastside Neighbors Volunteer Program since May, 2021.
