BIO ~ BRANDON BLUE, M.D., AND TONY 

 

Brandon Blue, M.D., is an Assistant Member and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Malignant Hematology at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, a comprehensive cancer research center recognized by the National Cancer Institute.  

Dr. Blue’s clinical interests include the treatment of plasma cell disorders and the evaluation of patients before and after bone marrow transplant, with a research focus on reducing health disparities and improving outcomes for patients with plasma cell dyscrasias. A passionate advocate for health equity, he has been a leading voice in addressing the disproportionate impact of MM on Black Americans and ensuring underserved communities have access to innovative therapies, including CAR-T cell treatment. 

Tony is a committed advocate within the MM community, dedicated to sharing his story and supporting others navigating a similar diagnosis.  

After receiving CARVYKTI® in May 2025, he has remained passionate about raising awareness of emerging treatment options in the Black community, as well as empowering patients to have informed conversations with their care teams.
