About Jonny Imerman 

Jonny Imerman grew up in Metro Detroit and shortly after graduating from the University of Michigan, he was diagnosed with advanced cancer & experienced 2 years of chemo & surgeries. 

Jonny co-founded ImermanAngels.org, a Chicago-based nonprofit that provides free one-on-one peer cancer support for thousands of cancer families each year & partners with hundreds of hospitals.

Jonny also co-founded CLOZTALK.com, a giant e-store where people can buy made-on-demand, high-quality “nonprofit org” brand logo apparel & choose from hundreds of vetted causes.

Jonny is grateful to have one ball and help others. Ha! There is no way to fight cancer without humor.

Jonny and his one ball live together in NYC. 

*Imerman Angels a nonprofit that introduces someone fighting cancer to another person who fought the same cancer— 1-on-1. The organization helps caregivers (family members) 1-on-1, too. Imerman Angels has 12,500+ trained, volunteer cancer survivors and caregivers on call. About Mindy – Host

Mindy Griffith, M.Ed worked as a Program Coordinator at the University of Arizona, an elementary school teacher, and a school administrator before joining BAG IT in 2016. Mindy has been engaged with a number of non-profits in volunteer, board, and leadership roles, having served as President of both the Junior League of Tucson and St. Luke’s Home, an assisted-living community for low-income Elders. Mindy has been touched by cancer as a daughter, granddaughter, and friend and is committed to making sure everyone knows they have a voice in THEIR healthcare team and how important that voice is to help one Fight the Fear of cancer.
